Thanksgiving message by Dr. Mark McConnell, Other scripture reference: 1 Thess 5:18 In everything give thanks Troubles that diminish our thankfulness equals, can be threatened by feelings that distress us (verses 33, 38, 21 and 32) When those you love disappoint you, it is difficule to be thankful When enemies assaulting you or your character - easier to be vengeful We should never be so far dawn that we are not thankful to God Be thankful for the relationship we have with our father (verse 41) Matthew 6:9 When no one to trust or toru to, be thankful we have the resource of our father God is ever dependable, no waiting room, no holidays, He works all shifts.

Remember there are consequences for your sins. If you have bitterness in your heart, get it straight with the person and God. By not resolving this can hinder your relationship.
