Part II from Part I preached by Pastor McConnell at New Cornerstone Baptist Church. Today ask yourself - has anyone been hindered by a worldly Spirit? IJohn2:15-17. We need to learn how to stay put and stop wondering off. 1)Stay connected, 2)Read God's Word, 3)Be Active in your church and 4)Strengthen your prayer life. Has anyone hindered you by some willful disobedience? Take the steps necessary to come back to God. Don't wast your right now doing what you want. John 9:4 tell us to work for the night is coming. Give God all you have - give Him your best

Part 1 of a two part series. Ask yourself if there is anyone who has been hindered by other Christians. 1) You cannot judge yourself based on another individual. 2) You can't get better without some struggles or trials. 3) Jesus is an example in suffering and living. Jesus is our pattern - copy the life Jesus lived. 4) Jesus never said living for Him or following Him would be easy. Listen to the sermon for other good points.

Morning sermon delivered by Dr. Mark McConnell to help our people heal after two back to back killings of African American males. 1 in Baton Rouge, LA and 1 in Minnesota. Tensions were high across the nation. This message was to encourage all to not revert to violence, but to trust, lean and rely on God. Turn back to God to help us in these difficult times.
